With the rapid growth of e-commerce, Ammo Varejo faced significant challenges related to online fraud, brand violations, and brand bidding. The emergence of numerous fraudulent websites and fake ads that improperly used the group's brands to deceive consumers, as well as unfair competitors purchasing ads with the group's brand terms, harmed the reputation of the brands, inflated the cost-per-click of advertising campaigns, and put consumers at risk, resulting in a loss of trust and financial damages.
Implemented Solution
Branddi, in partnership with Elementar, implemented a comprehensive approach to protect Ammo Varejo's brands from unfair competitors, fraud, and brand violations in marketplaces. For brand bidding, strategies included continuous monitoring of online activities related to the Artex, Mmartan, and Santista brands, identifying and removing paid ads from unfair competitors using the brand names improperly. Regarding fraud and brand violations, Branddi worked on identifying and swiftly eliminating fraudulent websites and fake ads, using advanced technologies to anticipate fraud and directly resolve violations. The individual results showed an 81% reduction in brand bidding occurrences, a 100% elimination of identified digital frauds within an average of 24 hours, and the successful notification and removal of 89% of brand aggressors.
