With the growing popularity of the Evino and Grand Cru brands, the group faced significant challenges with brand bidding, where competitors were using the brand names to divert traffic and inflate advertising costs. Additionally, Evino was dealing with the threat of online fraud, where fraudulent websites using the brand’s name were compromising consumer security and damaging the company's reputation.
Implemented Solution
Branddi, in partnership with Elementar, implemented rigorous monitoring to identify and combat brand bidding and online fraud. Using advanced technology and a specialized team, their joint efforts successfully reduced 93% of brand bidding occurrences from the peak registered in June 2024. The approach included direct actions with unfair competitors, leading to the elimination of aggressors from advertising platforms, which resulted in a 57% increase in CTR for Grand Cru and a significant reduction in CPC—42% for Evino and 57% for Grand Cru. Additionally, Branddi detected and eliminated fraudulent domains associated with Evino, quickly capturing and taking them down, ensuring the protection of both consumers and the brand.
