These practices not only harmed the company's results but also confused consumers, who could often end up purchasing products from dishonest competitors when searching for Pichau products. Additionally, Pichau had to deal with online frauds, such as fake websites and ads that harmed the brand's image and put consumers at risk. The challenge Pichau faced was to implement effective strategies to identify, combat, and prevent both brand bidding and fraud, ensuring the integrity of its brand and preserving consumer trust and safety.

Solution

To tackle this challenge, BrandMonitor implemented continuous monitoring of online activities related to the Pichau brand. Using advanced technology and a specialized team focused on combating brand bidding and fraud, BrandMonitor was able to quickly identify any misuse of the brand by competitors and fraudulent agents.
